BLU Bold N3 was unveiled today and is available for purchase in the U.S. unlocked for USD 200. This budget smartphone brings a lot of bang for its buck. For starters, it is built around a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, 10-bit color bit depth, 105% NTSC color space coverage, 950 nits of HBM brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. There’s an in-display fingerprint sensor and an X-axis linear motor that ensures a haptic response for immersive gaming.
The camera department comprises a 16MP selfie snapper and three rear shooters. The main one uses a 50MP OmniVision OV500A sensor and an f/1.9 lens and is capable of recording 4K videos at 30 fps. The second rear camera is an 8MP ultra-wide snapper with an f/2.2 aperture and a 112° FoV. The Bold N3 is powered by a 4700 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support and is based on a Dimensity 7050 chipset with a 2.6GHz octa-core CPU and a Mali-G68 GPU. The SoC is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage.
If all this sounds too familiar, it is because the Bold N3 is almost an exact copy of the Lava Agni 2. The Agni 2 is an India-bound smartphone. There are two differences between the two – the Bold N3 supports NFC and lacks a depth sensor. Everything else is identical, including the 3D curved front and rear design with a beautiful light teal coloor.
