BLU has released two new smartphones. The first is the BLU G72 Max which is based on a MediaTek Helio G37 chipset with a 2.3GHz octa-core CPU and a 680MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The front is adorned with a 6.8-inch IPS display with an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a U-shaped notch for the 8MP selfie camera. On the back, there’s a 13MP main shooter with a 2MP macro and 2 MP depth sensor. Power is supplied by a 5000 mAh battery with 10W wired charging support. The model runs on Android 12 and supports Bluetooth 5.1 and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C port. The available colors include orange, mint, and gray.
The second model is the entry-level BLU C5L+. With a design of yesteryear, it features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480 x 960 pixels. The device is based on the 28nm Spreadtrum SC9832E chipset with a 1.4GHz quad-core CPU. There are 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage on board. The camera department includes a 5MP main shooter and a 2MP selfie snapper. A 200 mAh battery keeps the lights on. The C5L+ has a Micro-USB port and runs on Android 12 Go edition with Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi b/g/n support. It is available in blue, brown, green, and black colors.
The Bold N2 is the latest BLU smartphone offering classic mid-range specifications and 5G connectivity.
