Bowers & Wilkins unveils in a press release the Px7 S2e, a new wireless headset with active noise reduction which, as its name suggests, succeeds the Px7 S2 launched last year.
A light update
Bowers & Wilkins presents the Px7 S2e as “an evolution of its award-winning wireless headphones with even better performance. » The new headset has a design similar to the 2022 model. It also has the same characteristics and is distinguished above all by the integration of a new digital signal processor (DSP).
In its press release, the company indicates that this new DSP is optimized for “deliver exceptional performance with all types of streaming music, including high-resolution 24-bit music from relevant streaming platforms. » Bowers & Wilkins also states that it has readjusted the acoustic platform of the headset in order to offer a better level of detail, dynamics and space.

For the rest, the Px7 S2e inherits everything from the Px7 S2. It weighs 307 grams, adopts a circum-aural format, has a port sensor and integrates 40 mm transducers. The headset is also SBC, AAC and aptX Adaptive compatible. And obviously, it benefits from the noise reduction function thanks to its four integrated microphones.
In terms of autonomy, the B&W Px7 S2e promises a battery life of 30 hours with noise reduction activated. It benefits from fast charging technology, and 15 minutes of charging is enough to enjoy 7 additional hours of listening, according to the brand.
The price does not change
Compared to the 2022 B&W Px7 S2, the change to the Px7 S2e is minimal. Fortunately, its price has not changed. Like the Px7 S2 at its launch, it is offered at 429 euros in four different colors (black, blue, gray), including an entirely new one (green). This wireless headset is available from this Tuesday, September 19, 2023.
