Doogee V30T appeared in early April and today the device is launched to the market. The latest addition to Doogee’s V series brings its own unique feature to the table. It happens to be the first rugged smartphone with a dual-color photochromic material for its rear shell. There’s a splash of sparkle thanks to the final finish that creates a cosmic look. At the same time, the model has an IP68 and IP69K rating for water and dust resistance and is compliant with the MIL-STD-810H standards.
The V30T is based on a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset built on the 6nm process. It is paired with 12GB of RAM that can be virtually expanded with up to 8GB as well as 256GB of built-in storage that can be expanded with up to 2TB using a microSD card. The device has a hybrid-SIM card slot with dual SIM 5G support. Dual-band GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and Wi-Fi 6 are also supported. The smartphone is fitted with dual front-firing stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port. It is powered by a massive 108000 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. The front is adorned with a 6.58-inch IPS display with an FHD+ resolution and up to a 120Hz refresh rate.
Doogee V30T has the same camera department as its V30 sibling. The main rear shooter employs a 108MP Samsung S5KHM2 sensor behind an f/1.8 lens. It uses 9-in-1 pixel binning to produce 12MP end photos. There’s a separate 108MP shooting mode if you need the full resolution. The main camera shoots 4K videos. This unit is adjoined by a 16MP OmniVision OV16B10 ultra-wide camera with a 130° field of view and an f/1.8 aperture. It shoots FHD videos. Finally, there’s a 20MP Sony IMX350 Night Vision camera with dual IR lights that’s also capable of shooting FHD videos. There’s a 32MP Sony IMX616 sensor for the selfie camera.
