Only two weeks left before Samsung lifts the veil on its Galaxy Z Fold 5. As a reminder, the foldable smartphone should be made official during an Unpacked event that it will organize on July 26 next. In the meantime, leaks continue about the device. The latest consists of a image set handling shared by a user of Reddit who claims to have gotten them from someone who tried to sell him the phone.
A design almost identical to its predecessor
One of the images shows us the exterior screen of the Galaxy Z Fold 5. Another reveals the back with three photo sensors arranged vertically at the top and left, exactly like on the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Here, however, we notice a slight difference. The objectives appear more protruding and the flash is this time placed next to it. A third photo shows the phone closed completely flat, certainly thanks to the famous new teardrop hinge spread by rumors in recent months.
In addition, there is also a photo of the Z Fold 5 opened, showing its foldable screen. Although it is more blurred than the others, we can perceive the morewhich means Samsung hasn’t managed to make it completely disappear yet.
Finally, the stickers on the phone indicate that it is a test model.
In short, although it is a new model, the similarities with its predecessor remain significant. We therefore expect Samsung to make more improvements to the technical sheet. It is already said that the chip Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 pour Galaxy will be there, but we hope to find changes at other levels.
