Huawei Mate 60 followed its Pro sibling with the same quiet listing on Huawei’s Vmall. The device has a single version of 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage and costs CNY 5999. It also retains the same colors and IP68 rating as its sibling. However, the vanilla version is smaller with a smaller display – a 6.69-inch OLED unit with a resolution of 1260 x 2688 px. It supports 10-bit color bit depth and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space. A 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a 1440 Hz PWM dimming are supported. The display is protected by Huawei’s Kinlun Gen 2 glass.
The rear camera department of the Huawei Mate 60 has the same main shooter as the Pro version – a 50MP unit with a variable aperture from f/1.4 to f/4.0, OIS, and autofocus. It also has the same 12MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The third camera is different and on the vanilla model, it is a 12MP periscope telephoto camera with a 125 mm focal length equivalent, 5x optical zoom, and an f/3.4 aperture. The selfie camera comprises a single 13MP sensor without any other sensors aiding it.
Huawei Mate 60 is equipped with a 5750 mAh battery with 66W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging support. The device runs on HarmonyOS 4.0 and supports satellite messaging in China. The chipset is probably the Kirin 9000s one with a 2.62GHz octa-core CPU and a Maleoon 910 GPU.
