Meizu has just announced the trio of smartphones from the new Meizu 20 series. The top tier is represented by the Meizu 20 Infinity. The flat body of this model is available in Nebula Green, Space Silver, and Star Black colors. A hybrid, ultra-lightweight stainless steel is used for the middle frame. According to Meizu, it allows for decreasing body weight by 30% and enables faster heat dissipation by 40%. For the front and back, Meizu has used titan glass – a first in the industry. It is lightweight, beautiful, sturdy, and wear-resistant. The front of the device is adorned with a 6.79-inch AMOLED display by BOE. It has a QHD+ resolution and the LTPO backplane enables 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The peak brightness reaches 1850 nits and there’s 1920Hz PWM dimming. The display supports 10-bit color bit depth and is HDR10+ certified.

The camera department of this high-end smartphone comprises three shooters. In a similar fashion to Samsung’s latest Galaxy S series, on the Meizu 20 Infinity, the camera lenses protrude directly from the rear shell’s surface. They are vertically aligned in the top left corner with the fourth module being the LED flash. The top lens is the 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 122-degree FoV, 6-element lens, an f/2.2 aperture, and a 1/2.55″ sensor. It is followed by the 50MP main camera with a 26 mm focal length equivalent, 7-element lens, f/1.75 aperture, OIS, and a 1/1.56″ sensor. Finally, there’s a 12MP telephoto camera with a 50 mm focal length equivalent, a 6-element lens, OIS, an f/2.98 aperture, and a 1/2.93″ sensor. Meizu has used sapphire glass for protection with an anti-reflective film that decreases reflection by four times. dTOF deep focus is also used to increase light focus speed by 30%. On the front, there’s a 32MP for the T-lens bionic human eye selfie system. This lens has an f/2.5 aperture.

The Meizu 20 Infinity is based on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X of RAM clocked at 8533MHz and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The chipset’s performance is aided by the Ice World cooling system that includes a super-large vapor chamber. There are two stereo speakers on board as well.
