As a true daughter company of BBK, OnePlus launches smartphones under its brand that are twins or very similar to models from the other sister brands – Vivo, iQOO, Realme, and Oppo. Today in India, OnePlus presented the OnePlus 10R which is a twin of the Realme GT Neo3 in terms of specifications. It even has two versions – one with a 4500 mAh battery and 150W hyper-fast charging and one with a 5000 mAh battery and 80W fast charging. The device is based on a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. On the front, there’s a 6.7-inch Fluid OLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass and has a punch hole for the 16MP selfie camera. On the back, there’s a 50MP Sony IMX766 main shooter with an f/1.8 aperture adjoined by an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens and a 2MP GalaxyCore GC02M1 macro unit. The OnePlus 10R runs on OxygenOS based on Android 12. It supports NFC, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and has a USB Type-C port with OTG.
Another OnePlus smartphone for India was announced today – the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. It features a 6.59-inch IPS display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Power is supplied by a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging, while processing power is based on a Snapdragon 695 chipset. There are 6GB?8Gb RAM onboard and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage that can be expanded. The camera department comprises a 16MP Sony IMX471 selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture, while on the back, the camera module is occupied by a 64MP main shooter with an f/1.7 aperture, a 2MP macro unit, and a 2MP depth-sensing lens. Again, this smartphone runs on OxygenOS based on Android 12. It is fitted with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C port.
