- The latest OnePlus Nord 2T renders appear to be official images.
- The overall design of the phone is similar to the Nord 2.
- The biggest change is a sleeker camera bump design.
What appears to be official renders of the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2T have leaked, giving us our most concrete look yet at the device’s probable appearance.
The Nord 2T is a mid-range device aimed at the Indian market and is the successor to the Nord 2. The device is expected to hit the market in May and while leaked renders have popped up before, the latest ones appear to be official marketing renders. These provide the clearest indication yet of what to expect.
The graphics were first posted on Chinese site Weibo (via XDA), and largely confirm what previous renders suggested. The Nord 2T is visually very similar to its predecessor, with one major exception: the camera bump. Unlike the Nord 2, which featured two large camera sensor cutouts, plus a third smaller one, the Nord 2T features just two very large cutouts. The top one houses the main camera sensor, while the bottom one has two smaller sensors.
Interestingly, the Nord 2T renders also show two separate flash modules, one next to each cutout. In contrast, the Nord 2 features a single flash module toward the bottom of the camera bump.
The overall appearance seems to be an improvement, consolidating the sensors into two cutouts instead of three. This gives the phone’s backside a sleeker appearance, although it does make the camera bump significantly wider. On the Nord 2, the bump covers approximately one-third the width of the phone’s backside, while the Nord 2T’s bump is roughly half. Still, despite it’s size, the look has a certain symmetrical appeal.

The renders also suggest the new model will come in just two colors: gray and green.
Beyond its physical appearance, previous leaks suggest the Nord 2 will feature an octa-core Dimensity 1300 SoC, a nice upgrade from the Dimensity 1200 in the Nord 2.
Overall, the Nord 2T seems poised to be a modest refresh of a solid mid-ranger, albeit with a slightly sleeker camera layout.
