OnePlus Nord 3 5G has been unveiled in India with a list of specifications that makes it almost a OnePlus Ace 2V double. Everything about the two smartphones is one and the same except the main camera. First things first. Both smartphones have one and the same display – a 6.74-inch Super Fluid AMOLED display with a resolution of 1240 x 2772 px. It supports 10-bit color bit depth and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space. The 2.5D curved screen has a 120Hz refresh rate with a 1000Hz touch response rate. HDR10+ is supported. Each of the two devices has a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset at its helm with a 3.05GHz octa-core CPU and an 848MHz 10-core ARM Mali-G710 GPU. The SoC is paired with 8GB/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage. Power is supplied by a 5000 mAh dual-cell battery with 80W fast charging support.
And now we arrive at the camera department. On the OnePlus Nord 3 5G it is headed by a 50MP Sony IMX890 unit with a 1/1.56″ optical format, a 6-element lens with a 24 mm focal length equivalent, and an f/1.8 aperture. The main camera supports PDAF, OIS, and EIS. OnePlus Ace 2V has a 64MP main shooter with a 6-element lens, a 25 mm focal length equivalent, and an f/1.7 aperture. The other cameras are identical – an 8MP ultra-wide unit with a 112° FoV, 1.12 µm pixel size, and an f/2.2 aperture plus a 2MP macro lens. A 16MP camera is positioned on the front for selfies. It has a 24 mm focal length equivalent, an f/2.4 aperture, 1.0 µm pixel size, and supports EIS.
OnePlus Nord 3 5G runs on OxygenOS 13.1 based on Android 13 and supports Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and dual-SIM 5G. The device is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, a USB 2.0 Type-C port, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a noise-canceling mic. The device is available in Tempest Gray and Misty Green colors. It price is set at INR 33,999 for the 8GB+128GB version and INR 37,999 for the 16GB+256GB variant.
