In May this year, Realme unveiled the Realme 11 series in China. It included the Realme 11 – a 5G smartphone with an AMOLED display and a Dimensity 6020 chipset. Yesterday, Realme Taiwa unveiled for the local market Realme 11 5G – another 5G smartphone based on the new MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and different in all other ways from its Chinese counterpart.
Realme 11 5G for Taiwan is built around a 6.72-inch IPS display with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits of typical brightness, and 680 nits of maximum one. The central punch hole in the display houses a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture, a 5-element lens, and an 82.3° FoV. On the rear shell, there’s a circular camera island located off the center to the left. It houses a 108MP Samsung S5KHM6 main shooter with a 6-element lens with an f/1.75 aperture, and an 83.6° FoV. There’s also a 2MP depth sensor aiding portrait shooting.
Realme 11 5G for Taiwan is based on the new MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset with a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There’s a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion and a possibility to virtually expand the RAM with up to 8GB. The smartphone runs on realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 and supports NFC, 5G, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi-Fi 5. It has a headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The available colors include Dawn Gold and Moon Light Dark. It is priced at TWD 9000.
Realme 11 4G has made a local debut in Vietnam. In design, it strongly resembles the Realme 11 5G for Taiwan, and just like it, it has a circular camera island with a 108MP main shooter and a 16MP OmniVision OV16A1Q selfie camera.
