Realme GT3 makes its global debut at MWC 2023 in Barcelona

Realme GT3 made its global debut at the MWC 2023 in Barcelona. This is actually the global version of the Realme GT Neo 5 240W which was unveiled in China in early January. The GT3 has a 4600 mAh battery that can be charged in full in 9 minutes. To enable this technology and ensure battery safety, Realme has used three top charging technologies. Its charging architecture has a super-high conversation efficiency of 98.5%. Moreover, there’s a customized 12A charging capable made of four 21AWG wires of the highest standard. Additionally, the charger itself is very compact with double GaN components. It has the highest ever power-to-volume ratio of 2.34 W/cub.cm. The battery and all materials have a PS3 fireproof design. Realme GT Neo5 also uses a special safety monitoring system and a graphene phase-change cooling material with an area of 6580 sq.mm. The device has been tested to last more than 1600 charging cycles without any issues.

Realme GT3 has a flat front and a 3D curved back made of AG glass in Booster Black and Pulse White colors. The camera island on the back occupies the top left corner. There’s a rectangular LED notification light to its right which also houses the 360-degree NFC module underneath. Realme calls it “Pulse Interface System”. The camera department includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with a 6-element lens, an f/1.88 aperture, OIS, and a 4K at 60 fps video recording capability. It is adjoined by an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide shooter with a 112-degree FoV and an f/2.2 aperture. Finally, there’s a 2MP microscopic lens with a GalaxyCore GC02M1 sensor and an f/3.3 aperture. The 16MP Samsung S5K3P9 selfie camera has an f/2.45 aperture and supports EIS for videos.

The front of the Realme GT3 is adorned with a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with 10-bit color depth, a resolution of 1240 x 2772 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, 1400 nits of peak brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 color space coverage. The smartphone has a USB Type-C port, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res audio certification. Processing power is based on a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The two versions run on realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13. The available versions are five in total, with prices starting at USD 649:
