Realme V30 and Realme V30t have just been launched in China with affordable prices. According to the listings on Realme’s website, there are no differences at all between the two models. We will wait for the detailed specifications list but indeed, even the dimensions and weight of the two are identical. For starters, the design is one and the same. Each has a 2.5D curved display on the front and a flat rear shell available in Dawn Gold and Dark Night Black colors. While the rear shell has a matte finish, the camera island part has a glossy gradient one. The cameras are vertically aligned in the top left corner while the whole glossy area occupies the top one-third of the rear shell. The cameras on the back are two – a 13MP main shooter and a depth-sensing one. On the front, there’s a 5MP selfie snapper residing in a V-shaped notch. The IPS display has an HD+ resolution (720 x 1600 px) and a 6.517-inch diagonal size. It covers 83% of the NTSC color space reference and delivers up to 600 nits of brightness. Power is supplied by a 5000 mAh battery and processing power depends on a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. For both smartphones, there are two RAM+storage options: 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. Up to 8GB of virtual RAM expansions is enabled. There’s a hybrid tray with a microSD card slot for storage expansion as well. Each of the smartphones is fitted with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. They both run on realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12.
