A Samsung Galaxy S24+ prototype has passed by Geekbench sporting a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The device’s model code is SM-S926U. The more interesting thing, however, is the chipset. Qualcomm is expected to hold its Snapdragon Technology Summit during October 24-26th and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 MNobile Platform will debut at that time. The Geekbench listing unveils the platform’s specifications. For starters, it has a four-cluster, octa-core CPU comprising a single X4 core clocked at 3.3GHz, three A720 cores clocked at 3.15GHz, two A720 cores clocked at 2.96GHz, and two A530 cores clocked at 2.27GHz. An Adreno 750 GPU is responsible for the graphics department. The chipset is manufactured after the TSMC N4P process. The tested prototype arrives with 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 14.
