The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are among the smartphones that are still expected in 2023. Unless Google changes its plans, it is expected to launch both devices next October. However, you won’t have to wait until then to find out everything about them.

Audio Eraser, Magic Editor and more

According to Mishaal Rahman, some of the scenarios cited in the survey could hint at features that will be found in the future Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. This is particularly the case for two scenarios which seem to refer to the Audio Eraser functionality already confirmed a few weeks ago. As a reminder, this feature will remove unwanted noise in a video with the help of AI.
Furthermore, two other scenarios seem to evoke another functionality that we do not yet know:
“No worries if someone gets distracted during a group photo, your phone’s AI can still make it a perfect group photo. »
“Create the perfect team photo by merging everyone’s best shot using your phone’s AI technology, so everyone looks amazing. »
Nothing is less certain, but it is possible that one of them refers to the new “Magic Editor” feature presented during the Google I/O event. This allows you to easily retouch a photo by, for example, repositioning a subject or instantly changing the background. But it may also be a completely new feature that the Pixel 8 will integrate.
Finally, Google also hinted at a faster launch of the Camera application and the arrival of playlists dedicated to sports on YouTube Music.
