UMIDIGI F3 Pro 5G has just been unveiled. This new smartphone has the footprint of its sibling the UMIDIGI F3 5G which was launched last summer. The two models also share two colorways – Matte Silver and Starry Black. They are also based on one and the same chipset – MediaTek Dimensity 700 which houses a 2.2GHZ octa-core CPU and a 955MHz Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
UMIDIGI F3 Pro 5G, however, offers more RAM choices – 6GB and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM as well as upgraded to UFS 2.1 storage available in 128GB and 256GB. Its battery is also bigger – 6150 mAh with 18W fast charging support. UMIDIGI specifies 20 hours of call time and 320 hours of standby time. The IPS display of the Pro version has a 6.6-inch diagonal size and a higher resolution – 1080 x 2408 px. The front of the model is 2.5D curved, while the rear shell has 3D curved sides.
The camera department includes a 16MP selfie snapper with an f/2.2 aperture, a 76.3° FoV, and a 5-element lens. On the back, there’s a 48MP Sony IMX582 main shooter with an f/1.8 aperture, a 6-element lens, and a 78° FoV. It is adjoined by an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 120° FoV and an f/2.2 aperture. There’s a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture along with a quad-LED flash. The smartphone has a 3.5 mm jack, a USB Type-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs on Android 13 and supports 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.1.
UMIDIGI G2 and UMIDIGI C2 will go on sale on AliExpress on March 20 priced at USD 80. Most probably these will be the most affordable Android 13 4G smartphones in the market.
