For starters, iQOO Neo 7 India is based on a Dimensity 8200 chipset with 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS storage. The chipset is aided by a full coverage 3D cooling system with a 2396 mm² of vapor chamber and 3D graphite structure. There’s an option for virtual RAM expansions with up to 8GB. The internal memory cannot be expanded. The Chinese model is based on the Dimensity 9000+ chip with more storage options.
Another difference between the two is the design. The India-bound model has two color versions that are different from the three color versions for China. There isn’t a faux leather variant. The Indian model is 4 grams lighter than the Chinese one. Furthermore, the Indian model runs on FunTouch OS 13, while the Chinese one runs on OriginOS Ocean, both based on Android 13.
Finally, the camera department. iQOO Neo 7 India features a 64MP main shooter with an f/1.79 aperture and OIS, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie snapper. The Chinese version has a 50MP+8MP+2MP camera common on its back.
In all else, the two models share one and the same specs. The displays are identical – 6.78-inch AMOLED units with an FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 peak brightness, HDR10+ certification, etc. Each of the smartphones packs a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, X-axis linear motor, dual stereo speakers with Smart PA and Hi-Res Audio, IR blaster, and USB Type-C port. The India version does not support NFC.
Vivo Y100 has been launched in India. The device features a glass front and a fluorite AG glass rear shell bonded to a plastic frame.
