Vivo V25 and Vivo V52 Pro are unveiled with AMOLED displays,

The Vivo V25 and the Vivo V25 Pro were unveiled featuring 5G chipsets and AMOLED displays. They both run on FunTouch OS 12 based on Android 12.

The Vivo V25 Pro has a 3D curved front and back, with the rear shell featuring a color ganging fluorite AG glass design. It is available in black and blue colors. The front is adorned with a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1300 nits peak brightness. There’s a punch hole for the 32MP front-facing camera with autofocus and HDR, 4K video recording. On the back, there’s a 64MP main shooter with PDAF and OIS, an f/1.9 aperture, and 4K video recording. The main camera is adjoined by a 12MP ultra-wide unit with a 120-degree FoV and a 2MP macro lens. The Vivo V25 Pro is based on a Dimensity 1300 chipset with 8GB/12GB of LPDRR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Power is supplied by a 4830 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. The device is fitted with dual speakers with Hi-Res Audio certification, an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port.

The Vivo V25 has a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It features a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus residing in a waterdrop notch. On the back, there’s a 64MP main shooter with OIS and PDAF and an f/1.8 aperture. There’s an 8MP ultra-wide snapper with a 120-degree FoV as well as a 2MP macro lens. Both the main and front cameras record 4K videos. The Vivo V25 is based on a Dimensity 900 chipset with 8GB/12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Power is supplied by a 4500 mAh battery with 44W fast charging. The device is available in Diamond Black, Sunrise Gold, and Aquamarine Blue colors.

Counterpoint and Strategy Analytics both report a decline in smartphone shipments, by 9% and by 7% YoY for the Q2. This is the fourth consecutive quarter of annual decline by smartphone volumes.
