Xiaomi 13 Lite debuts with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and

Xiaomi 13 Lite made its global debut today along with the other two devices from the Xiaomi 13 series. This smartphone has a slim and lightweight body (171 g) with a 3D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back and a plastic frame. The available colors include Black, Lite Pink, and Lite Blue. The front is adorned with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, 1920 PWM, etc. There’s an oval cut in the top center of the display for the two front cameras. The main one has a 32MP Samsung GD2 sensor with EIS, while the second is an 8MP depth sensor. They are aided by two dual LED lights. On the back, there’s a trio of cameras occupying a circular camera island. The main one uses a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with an f/1.8 lens, a 100-degree FoV, and 4K video recording. It is adjoined by an 8MP ultra-wide unit with a 119-degree FoV and an f/2.2 aperture. Finally, there’s a 2MP macro lens.

Xiaomi 13 Lite is based on the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset which houses a2.4GHz octa-core CPU. it is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There’s no option for storage expansion. Power is supplied by a 4500 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The smartphone has two stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an IR blaster, and and in-display fingerprint sensor. It runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 12 and supports NFC (market-dependent). The device will go on sale on March 8 with prices starting at EUR 499 for the 8GB+128GB version.

The Xiaomi 13 series went global today as a part of the MWC 2023 in Barcelona. The smartphones don’t have any significant differences from their Chinese counterparts announced on December 11 last year.
