ZTE’s nubia will launch globally its Nubia Pad 3D on March 7. This tablet boasts a 12.4-inch 2.5K display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an adaptive dimming capability. The product aims to revolutionize the way we create and interact with various types of content by offering highly immersive 3D images that take display technology to the next level. Because the display can be viewed without the use of glasses, it can be seen by multiple people simultaneously for exhibition, streaming, and educational purposes delivering an immersive 3D viewing experience. Having a 3D pad enables the following:

The structure of the screen includes a bottom standard 2D backlight, a proprietary DLB layer (Leia 3D Lightfield Mode), and a standard display panel on top. The Nubia Pad 3D uses a 12.4 IIPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 2D/3D switchable mode. On the front, there are two 8MP photos for tracking the user’s face and delivering a 3D viewing experience. On the back, there are two 16MP photos for snapping 3D photos and videos. The processing power depends on a Snapdragon 888 chipset with 128GB or 256GB of expandable storage. Power is supplied by a 9700 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The Nubia Pad 3D also features a 16:10 ratio and powerful WiFi 6E to make connectivity superfast and ensure that nothing gets in the way of the immersive experience provided by the portable cinema in your home.
